Academic Tutoring Overview …
Children of all ages become NCES tutoring clients in all subjects, all grades, K through 12. Often the root cause for difficulties in school stems from poor basic reading and/or math skills. Our specially trained tutors use RICHARDS READ Systematic Language techniques to teach reading. Real Life Ma+h techniques communicate math concepts. Our success teaching these basic skills is demonstrated in research, newspaper and publication articles, and in the success stories within this web site.
A challenging and extremely rewarding aspect of NCES is solving education problems for children with ADD, ADHD, Asperger’s Syndrome, dyslexia, learning disabilities, and other learning differences. We have helped many children with these problems complete courses, grades, and graduate from high school.
In addition to one-on-one in-home instruction, NCES offers classes at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, Ohio, Solon Community Education, Westlake Recreation Center, and Strongsville Community Education. These classes are offered at very reasonable rates and are very popular in Lakeland’s “College for Kids”.
