AN INTERVIEW WITH NCES FOUNDER, CAROLE RICHARDS

November 6, 2017

On December 1st, our founder and president — Carole Richards — was a guest speaker on a local radio program.

Each week, Dr. Cara Daily hosts a program called Wonderfully Made, which spotlights God’s work in the lives of individuals with special needs. Her guests include individuals within the special needs community who have stories or programs to share.

Carole spoke with Dr. Cara at length about North Coast Education Services and her non-profit organization, the Creative Education Institute (CEI). She explains more about the services that North Coast provides, as well as more details about CEI’s Academic Fun & Fitness Camp.

The highlight of Carole’s interview was the story behind our Richards Learning Systems® and her goal to introduce the program into the classroom setting. Carole talks about her partnership with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and Judson Park to make this dream a reality. By training the teachers at the same time as the students are learning, she hopes to dramatically cut training costs for local school districts.

Carole’s radio interview is now available online! Click below to hear Carole tell the story herself:

Whether you are a teacher, a parent, or a students, there are bound to be some butterflies when you hear acronyms like SAT, ACT, PRAXIS, PARCC, OAA, etc. Generally, a little bit of nervousness is good – it is your body’s way of telling you that this is important to you and you want to succeed.
