North Coast Tutoring Services is attentive and knowledgeable about our students’ specific learning differences. Because of our specialized training, North Coast Tutoring Services is an approved education service provider for both the Autism Scholarship Program and the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship Program.
From our highly-skilled master tutors to our unique, multi-sensory reading and math curriculum, everyone at North Coast Tutoring Services takes great pride in what we offer individuals with learning disabilities. For more than 30 years, we’ve tutored students of all ages, with varying needs, including autism, dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, developmental delays and other types of learning disabilities.
Autism Scholarship Program
The Autism Scholarship Program (ASP) grants qualified applicants up to $32,445 annually for services outlined in their IEP. Parents have the choice to send their child to a special education program other than their school district, such as North Coast Tutoring Services, with this scholarship’s funding.
We work one-on-one with our students and their Individual Education Plan (IEP). Our Autism Scholarship students fall into two categories:
- Behavioral (lower functioning or younger children)
- Academic (students ready to take on academic subjects like math, reading, writing and much more). Our directors meet with our Academic families to develop customized curriculum.
- By working together with an affiliate, we are able to help our clients qualify for high school diplomas. The program requires enrollment fees (very reasonable) and development of a customized education plan with North Coast Tutoring Services staff.
Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship Program
The Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship Program (JPSN) provides funds for eligible K-12th grade students who have an IEP from his/her school district. North Coast Tutoring Services can help families navigate the application process and match their students with a specially trained tutor.
North Coast Tutoring Services has been an approved provider since the scholarship’s inception. As of July 2024, this scholarship can benefit your child for up to $32,445 per year. We offer two types of academic programs for our Jon Peterson Scholarship clients:
- Academic support (Child is attending a private or parochial school)
- Home-based complete academic program (Child is home schooled but receiving a scholarship)
- By working together with an affiliate, we are able to help our clients qualify for high school diplomas. The program requires enrollment fees (very reasonable) and development of a customized education plan with North Coast Tutoring Services staff.
For both home-based academic and academic support programs, our directors work with our families to develop customized curriculum.
