No two students are exactly alike. They learn differently, think differently, and act differently. It can be a struggle for some teachers, parents, and administrators to understand challenging students. After all, they are unique. Techniques that work for one student will not always work for another.
Some people get frustrated dealing with a challenging student and simply give up. Others think outside the box to determine the best way to help.

Next month, Dr. David Meichenbaum will present a free conference:
“A PBIS APPROACH —
WORKING WITH CHALLENGING
& DISRUPTIVE STUDENTS IN THE CLASSROOM”
Attendees will participate in a full day of intensive training that will provide them with skills, strategies and applied tools that can be used both in the classroom and in the home.
Parents, administrators, teachers, intervention specialists, therapists, and service providers are all encouraged to attend.
This free conference will take place in the Quail Hollow Resort Ballroom in Painesville on Thursday, November 12th from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm. Coffee, tea, and water will be provided, but attendees are responsible for their own lunch.
