Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship!
This scholarship is available to Ohio students with a diagnosed learning disability. Instead of attending public or charter school, families can elect to apply for the scholarship and choose an alternative education for their child — such as a private school or homeschooling setting.
Up to $27,000 may be awarded per child for services outlined on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
North Coast Tutoring Services has been a provider to the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship since its conception. Our program director will place a tutor with your student who can help with their educational and behavioral needs. Services are available in the home and in local public locations.
Applications for the Jon Peterson Scholarship are only accepted twice per year. The current deadline to apply is April 15th. Those who apply now and are accepted will receive the scholarship from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017. The next opportunity to apply will be October 1, 2016.
