Ohio Autism Scholarship Increase July 1, 2022

Along with others, North Coast Tutoring Services, and families have been advocating for an increase in scholarship funding for the last several years. We know the positive impact this will have for Ohio students and providers. Governor DeWine signed an amendment into law last evening increasing the Autism Scholarship amount to $31,500 for FY22 and $32,455 for FY23. These increases are effective for scholarship fiscal years beginning July 1, 2021 and July 1, 2022, respectively. We are grateful for the support of all the members of the House, Senate, Conference Committee, and especially, State Senator Bob Peterson, and Governor DeWine for making the Autism Scholarship a priority.

As of July 1, 2021, all Autism Scholarship awards are now $31,500 per year per child. As of July 1, 2022, all Autism Scholarship awards will be $32,455 per year per child.
